SURGICAL INTERVENTION
SURGICAL MISSIONS
We are committed to delivering life-saving surgical interventions for individuals who cannot afford the cost of surgery. Our dedicated team performs both complex and simple procedures, with no limitations on our capacity to provide critical care. By removing financial barriers, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the high-quality healthcare they deserve.
What is Surgical Mission ?
Our surgical mission is designed to improve the quality of life, strengthen local health systems, and reduce poverty. For the past two decades, PAC has organized missions in more than 42 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe, conducting over 100,000 surgeries across 200 camps. We deploy medical volunteers with diverse specialties, nationalities, and capabilities. In collaboration with local governments, and public hospitals, we develop deployment plans to ensure that the most affected individuals are reached.
Our mission goes beyond providing surgical procedures. We also offer opportunities for local healthcare professionals to participate and receive training, addressing capacity gaps within their healthcare systems. By building local expertise, we aim to create a lasting impact that endures beyond our missions.
Who is going to benefit from the mission ?
The mission benefits both the healthcare system and underserved populations in the countries where we work. This program is conducted based on the specific needs of each country, addressing critical gaps in healthcare. We advocate for strengthening the local healthcare system so that tertiary hospitals can offer the full range of services required by the population. By enabling people to access necessary treatments within their own country, we help reduce the financial burden of seeking care abroad, ultimately contributing to the growth of the country’s economy.
