Dr. Saad Al-Garni
Dr. Saad Al-Garni is a distinguished vascular surgeon with over three decades of service in the medical field, complemented by his profound commitment to global humanitarian efforts. A graduate of King Saud University Medical College, Dr. Al-Garni has earned advanced surgical qualifications including an FRCS (Edinburgh) and the Arab Board in Surgery, with specialized training from renowned institutions like the University of Oxford and St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in London.
In 2003, Dr. Al-Garni founded “Physicians Across Continents” (PAC), a global humanitarian organization that brings together physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators to deliver complex surgeries and medical treatments to communities in need. As Secretary General of PAC, Dr. Al-Garni has been instrumental in organizing and leading numerous surgical missions, medical education programs, training initiatives, and emergency aid efforts. His work through PAC has made a significant impact on improving the quality of life for underserved populations worldwide.
Dr. Al-Garni also serves as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, where he has advanced clinical practice and research in vascular surgery, particularly in endovascular procedures.
He is a respected member of various professional societies, including the European Vascular Surgeons, and has held numerous leadership positions. With a passion for education and research, Dr. Al-Garni is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of surgeons and has been a key figure in organizing symposia, workshops, and leading research projects in vascular disease and innovative surgical techniques. His dedication to both his patients and the global community underscores his reputation as a leader in both medicine and humanitarian work.
Dr. Jamal M. Ghosheh
Dr. Jamal M. Ghosheh is an accomplished Consultant Neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in brain, spinal, and functional neurosurgery. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from University College London. Dr. Ghosheh has held prominent positions, including Chief Neurosurgeon at the Ghosheh Medical C Surgical Complex, and previously served as Chief Neurologic Surgeon at Makassed Islamic Hospital in Jerusalem and King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
His surgical repertoire encompasses complex brain and spinal surgeries, epilepsy surgery, and functional neurosurgery, with a specific focus on neuromodulation for movement disorders and pain management. Dr. Ghosheh has pioneered advanced spinal procedures in Palestine and is recognized for his work in epilepsy surgery, having performed numerous anterior temporal lobectomies, hemispherectomies, and other intricate procedures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ghosheh is actively involved in medical education, having served on faculty at various institutions, including Alquds University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital.
He has contributed to setting neurosurgical standards as a member of the Palestinian Medical Council and has been an invited speaker at numerous international conferences. Dr. Ghosheh’s academic contributions include research in epilepsy surgery, spinal surgery, and neurosurgical oncology, and he has authored several publications and case studies. His career reflects a commitment to advancing neurosurgical practice and education, particularly in under-resourced settings. Dr. Ghosheh is one of the founders of Physicians Across Continents (PAC), an international medical charity organization providing quality healthcare and training programs worldwide. He has also led numerous international surgical missions for PAC, reflecting his commitment to global health.
