PAC utilizes a variety of integrated health interventions to deliver essential package of health services to vulnerable members in the community. These often include but not limited to treatment of minor illnesses, immunization, emergency care, reproductive maternal and newborn health and management of HIV. PACs health facilities and mobile health services provide integrated health services with an emphasis on our innovative strategy of holistic services

Curative Services

Through its various sites, PAC provides treatment of common illnesses for both children and adults in the communities where it operates. These improves access to essential care during emergencies. Annually, PAC reaches over 150,000 women, men, boys and girls through its outpatient services.

Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health.

PAC utilizes a comprehensive to offer MNCH services to women and children aimed at improving health outcomes for mothers, newborns, and children, addressing the critical phases of pregnancy, childbirth, infancy, and early childhood reducing morbidities and mortalities, and ensuring the well-being of women and children, especially in low-resource settings. These services are usually integrated into existing health and nutrition interventions and may be offered at various levels of care.

  • Maternal health: we target women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Through this we are able to help prevent and manage complications that can arise before, during, or after childbirth. Services are provided through family planning, antenatal care, skilled birth attendance (including emergency obstetric care (EmOC) and postnatal care.
  • Newborn health: through the fixed health sites, we provide early essential newborn care and treatment of newborn illnesses to help the newborns survive during the first 28 days of live.
  • Child Health: by targeting children under five, PAC is able to focus on preventing and managing common childhood illnesses and promoting health development through immunization, nutrition and prevention and treatment of pneumonia and diarrhea.
 
HIV Program

Working closing with Global Fund and UNICEF, PAC provides support to implement the following interventions:

  • HIV Testing and Counselling (HTS)
  • Prevention of Mother To Child Transmissions (PMTCT) during pregnancy and delivery
  • Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) to client registered in care.
 
Advocacy and Referrals

We engage the communities we serve to identify and address pertinent issues that improves access to and utilization of health services at various levels. We also strengthen grass root structures to provide underserved and vulnerable communities with platforms to advocate and provide referrals from and to the following concerns:

  • Gender-Based Violence – GBV
  • Mental Health issues
